Since 1993, I have specialized in Luxury & Resort Properties, as well as Commercial Sales and Leasing, from Destin to 30A and the surrounding coastal communities. Bio

• 1993 Began selling new construction homes on site, selling 4 homes in his first 5 weeks.

• 1996 Migrated into the commercial real estate world. One of the original members of Abbott Realty’s Commercial Division. Abbott Realty was the largest employer in the area at that time.

• 2001 Joined Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast.

• Became a Director of KW Commercial when it was founded in 2008.

• 2008 Top closed volume team, while personally carrying 50 listings.

• ALC Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast Agent Leadership Council multiple terms.

• 2007-2009 Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast Technology Chairman & Co-Chairman.

• 2007-2010 MLS Committee member.

• 2000s Multiple Emerald Coast Association of Realtors committees.

• 2009-2014 Commercial Committee Chairman & Co-Chairman multiple times; Chairman of ECAR’s Commercial Forum multiple times.

• 2011 Co-Founder of the Gulf Coast Commercial MLS, and one term Chairman, a regional commercial MLS, and national property search platform.

Representation, or “Agency” 

 

In the state of Florida, by default the relationship between the agent and buyer, or seller, is referred to as a Transaction Agency. This means the agent doesn’t truly represent you. They represent the transaction. I and other Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast agents work as a Single Agency. This means I represent my clients 100%. For instance, if I learn the other party is desperate to buy, or sell, I can tell you what I know, because it is my fiduciary responsibility to protect your best interests. Ethically, Transaction Agency agents cannot, unless given permission to. They still must deal honestly and fairly; however, they can’t give you the “inside scoop.” Single Agency agents must give notice of their relationship, whereas Transaction Agency agents do not.
